DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) and Hagerty announced today a multi-year agreement that welcomes the leading automotive enthusiast brand as an official partner of IMSA, further enhancing the connection between motorsports and car culture.
As part of the new partnership, Hagerty will have a presence at each IMSA event, providing fans with engaging experiences both on-site and online. This includes the “Hagerty Race Passport,” an interactive guide available in the IMSA Fan Guide and at IMSA Fan Info Kiosks. The Passport will highlight key viewing areas, must-see attractions, photo opportunities, and event-specific activities to help fans make the most of their race weekend.
Additionally, members of the Hagerty Drivers Club—more than 875,000 strong—will receive exclusive IMSA-related benefits, including special discounts on merchandise and other unique offerings throughout the season.
Claire Williams, Vice President of Marketing Strategy at Hagerty:
“Motorsports and car culture go hand in hand, and our partnership with IMSA is about celebrating both in ways that engage fans and enthusiasts alike. Whether you’re a lifelong race fan or just discovering sports car racing, we’re excited to enhance the at-track experience and create more opportunities for people to connect with the cars, the competition and the community.”
John Doonan, IMSA President:
“Hagerty is a standard-bearer for specialty vehicle insurance and celebrates the automotive industry and car culture like few other brands. Hagerty feels like a natural part of the IMSA paddock, and its presence will only amplify the car culture that IMSA provides. We can’t wait to take the next step with Hagerty in this multi-year agreement.”
The new partnership launched at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, where IMSA fans experienced Hagerty’s presence throughout the paddock and fan zones, including Sebring International Raceway’s midway. Look for more at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach from April 11-12.
