Porsche is marking the 50th anniversary of ANDIAL with a new 911 GT3 (Type 992.2) design wrap that pays tribute to one of the company’s most famous race car liveries—the ANDIAL 935-L. The wrap made its debut at the Porsche Club of America Werks Reunion during Monterey Car Week.
ANDIAL, founded in 1975 by Arnold Wagner, Dieter Inzenhofer, and Alwin Springer, earned a reputation as one of America’s foremost Porsche tuning and motorsport outfits. The company prepared cars and engines that competed successfully across North America, including endurance events like the 24 Hours of Daytona. Lessons learned in racing often filtered down to ANDIAL’s street-focused performance upgrades, helping to build its status among enthusiasts over several decades.
“The GT3 embodies the connection between Porsche motorsport technology and road cars in much the same way ANDIAL applied motorsport expertise to cars on public roads and in racing,” said Volker Holzmeyer, CEO of Porsche Motorsport North America.
The new wrap will be hand-applied at Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur in Zuffenhausen and costs $7,680 as an option on the 911 GT3. Porsche says it will eventually be available as a retrofit for current GT3 owners. The package includes ANDIAL-themed decals, an optional two-digit number for the doors and hood, and a customizable driver name and flag above each door. Matching accessories—such as a painted key, key pouch, manual case, floor mats, and door-sill plates—will also be available.
This offering follows Porsche’s launch of an ANDIAL-branded apparel and memorabilia collection earlier this year.
