EAST FACTS:

Daytona Debut: DXDT Racing made their IMSA Weatherlech SportsCar Championship debut at the 2025 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona. The team raced to the top five by hour six, led their first IMSA laps and executed flawless pitstops prior to a terminal failure just after 2am, finishing 19th in class.

Sebring Stats: The GTD class completed 1174 miles in the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2024. That is the equivalent to driving from Sebring, Florida to New York City in just 12 hours, six hours faster than the average traveler! DXDT plans to make 12 pitstops, using approximately 1200 litres of VP Racing fuel and 12 sets of Michelin Pilot Sport ProGT H1 tires. Corvette is the equipment of choice, they’ve recorded 14 class victories at the 12 Hours of Sebring, America’s oldest SportsCar race.

Wickens Test: As announced by DXDT in December, Robert Wickens has joined the team and will race five of IMSA’s “Sprint” rounds in 2025, beginning at Long Beach (Laguna Seca, CTMP, Road America and VIR). Working alongside Pratt and Miller and Bosch, the DXDT team has fitted the #36 SuCo/Mobil 1 Corvette Z05 GT3.R with the new Bosch hand control system Wickens will use to compete. Wickens will drive the car for the first time on Tuesday, March 18th at Sebring International Raceway.

The Endurance Specialists: DXDT’s trio of endurance specialists, Alec Udell, Charlie Eastwood, and Salih Yoluc have a strong SportsCar pedigree, including nine championship titles collectively, and 24 Hours Le Mans class victories for Eastwood and Yoluc. Udell joined the DXDT squad in 2024 and dominated his record-setting eight consecutive pro-class wins in the GT World Challenge America. During the 12 Hours of Sebring, each driver must complete a minimum of three hours during the race, and no more than seven hours.

DRIVER QUOTES:

Alec Udell: “Looking forward to the Race coming up at the Sebring 12 hour. The track itself is one of the more physical circuits we go to on the IMSA calendar and from that standpoint, I’m happy to be behind the wheel of the Corvette Z06 GT3.R. The Corvette platform is great over a long run and allows the driver to guide a lot of the balance through the run. The DXT crew has been putting in a lot of hard work in the shop since Daytona and the test a few weeks ago, I think we’re going to be ready for the condensed schedule on the weekend.”

Charlie Eastwood: “Looking forward to going racing with the DXDT crew again. We learned a lot in Daytona, although we ran strong, it ended in disappointment. The whole team has worked so hard, and they are very motivated to get us back to winning ways. The Corvette Z06 is a great car at Sebring, especially over the bumps so I think we are in with a good chance!”

Salih Yoluc: “I am looking forward to Sebring after a disappointing Daytona. Hopefully we will get a good result to kick start a good momentum for the remaining 2025 season which we desperately need for our championship hopes as well. Can’t wait.”
