Mazda MX-5 Miata owners now have more options for improving the performance of their brake system
while complementing tire or suspension upgrades. Wilwood has engineered front big brake kits to provide
more torque using 11.75” diameter rotors and pairing them with lightweight, rigid, forged aluminum four
piston calipers. Options include Dynalite calipers for high-performance street cars or Dynapro-ST calipers
with Thermlock™ pistons for demanding track use.
Complete kits are engineered to bolt on to factory hubs and spindles without modification and are compatible
with the OE master cylinder and ABS, if present. High-performance street kit options include 32-vane ULHP
plain face or SRP drilled and slotted rotors and standard powder coat gloss red or black four piston calipers
with 26 surcharge color options available. Race kits feature 40-vane GT slotted rotors with Wilwood’s floating
mount Lug-Drive snap ring technology and Type III Mil-Spec hard-anodize finished calipers.
Wilwood’s BP-10 performance brake pads are standard in the street kit, and BP-35 race-spec pads in the
track kit. Other compounds are available to suit your application. Braided stainless steel Flexlines and
premium-grade hardware are also included.
MX-5 Miata fitment includes NA/NB model years 1990-05, and ND models from 2016-24.
