Stellantis Corporate Purge

The corporate purge at Stellantis has claimed more victims as the automaker aggressively overhauls its leadership team. Sources close to the company, who requested anonymity due to the sensitive nature of the shakeup, confirm that Chief Software Officer Yves Bonnefont and Peugeot brand head Linda Jackson are both being axed.

Bonnefont, a longtime Tavares ally, was responsible for the automaker’s software division, a unit plagued by repeated delays, derailed product launches, and mounting internal frustrations. His failures directly contributed to high profile setbacks, including the stalled release of the all electric Ram pickup in the U.S. and key European models. His departure signals a brutal reckoning for Stellantis’ once ambitious tech strategy.

Jackson, a veteran of the Peugeot brand, is also being shown the door, marking yet another casualty in Stellantis’ brutal leadership cull. The company’s aggressive restructuring effort is eliminating underperforming divisions and consolidating control.

In a move signaling a shift in priorities, Stellantis is handing software oversight to Chief Engineering and Technology Officer Ned Curic. The decision underscores the company’s desperate attempt to streamline operations as it grapples with declining market performance, investor unrest, and the fallout from Tavares’ abrupt exit.

With key executives being ousted at breakneck speed, Stellantis is sending a clear message: no one is safe as the company scrambles to regain its footing in an increasingly volatile auto market.
