Time and again, our special OE customer Rimac sets the tarmac on fire with breathtaking records. Whether it’s going backwards at 275.74 km/h, being 20 seconds faster than the competition on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, or once hitting 412 km/h to unofficially become the fastest electric car ever – Rimac keeps raising the bar. And now they’ve done it again.
As anyone following our collaboration with Rimac knows, both the Nevera and the Nevera R are equipped with our semi-active coilover suspension systems. The difference? The Nevera R simply has even more firepower—and has been further optimized in areas like aerodynamics and beyond.
Even the standard Nevera, with its 1,914 hp, is no slouch. But with 2,136 hp under the hood, the Nevera R just pulled off something extraordinary: 24 world records in a single day at the Papenburg proving grounds—beating the 23 records the Nevera set there in 2023.
Back in the day, the gold standard for hypercars was the 0–300–0 km/h test: accelerate from a standstill to 300 km/h, then brake back to zero. But for today’s hypercars like the Rimac Nevera R? Too easy.
The highlight: a mind-blowing 0–400–0 km/h run in just 25.79 seconds. That’s nearly 4.14 seconds faster than the Nevera’s previous record of 29.93 seconds! And the new top speed? A blistering 431.45 km/h. Just look at these numbers:
