Porsche Introduces Retro Flavored 911 Spirit 70 Trim

Porsche has announced the 911 Spirit 70, the third model in its limited-run Heritage Design series. This version takes inspiration from 1970s and early 1980s design themes. Production is limited to 1,500 units worldwide, following the earlier releases of the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition and the 911 Sport Classic.

The 911 Spirit 70 is based on the 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet with rear-wheel drive. It shares the same drivetrain as the latest GTS models, including a high-voltage hybrid system with an electric turbocharger, an electric motor, and a 3.6-liter flat-six engine producing a combined 532 horsepower and 449 lb-ft of torque.

The exterior features a custom green paint called Olive Neo, with contrasting Bronzite-colored center-lock wheels (20 inches in the front, 21 inches in the rear), a black cabriolet top, and black windshield frame. Decorative elements include parallel stripes across the hood and top, retro-style “911” lettering, and optional decals on the sides, including a number roundel.

A vintage-style Porsche crest is featured on the hood, and the car includes gold-plated “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur” fender badges. The engine grille also has a Porsche Heritage badge, and gold-plated Porsche lettering appears at the rear.

Inside, the 911 Spirit 70 continues the use of patterned upholstery seen in previous Heritage Design models. The seats, door inserts, and glove compartment feature a Pasha fabric pattern in black and Olive Neo. This updated version of the classic pattern uses a mix of textile and flock yarn. The rest of the interior is trimmed in Basalt Black Club leather with Olive Neo stitching. Trim in the Pasha pattern is available at no extra cost, and a reversible trunk mat with the same design is included.

The digital instrument cluster uses a design that mimics older Porsche dials, with white needles and green digits. A similar look is used for the Sport Chrono stopwatch. A matching chronograph watch is available only to buyers of the 911 Spirit 70, featuring design cues from the car, including the Pasha pattern on the dial.

U.S. deliveries are expected to start in late summer 2025, with a starting price of $140,000.
