In 1995, the team stormed to victory on its Le Mans début with the McLaren F1 GTR. That triumph, along with wins at the Monaco Grand Prix and the Indianapolis 500 in 1975, earned McLaren the prestigious Triple Crown of motorsport – an honour claimed by only a select few.
