FERRARI ANNOUNCES COMMERCIAL POLICY UPDATE IN LIGHT OF U.S. IMPORT TARIFFS ON EU CARS
Ferrari today announced an update to its commercial policy in response to preliminary information regarding the potential introduction of import tariffs on EU-manufactured vehicles entering the United States.
Ferrari remains deeply committed to providing its clients with the highest level of attention and protection. With this goal in mind, the Company seeks to offer clarity and certainty as it navigates the evolving regulatory landscape.
Key Points of the Update:
- Unchanged Commercial Terms for Existing Orders: All orders for Ferrari models imported before April 2, 2025, will continue to be honored under the current commercial terms. Additionally, orders for the Ferrari 296, SF90, and Roma families will also be unaffected by the changes, regardless of the import date.
- Updated Conditions for Remaining Models: For the remaining Ferrari models, the new import conditions will result in a partial adjustment to the pricing, with a potential increase of up to 10%. These updates will be implemented in close coordination with Ferrari’s dealer network.
Despite the evolving conditions, Ferrari is confident in its ability to meet its 2025 financial targets. However, the company acknowledges a potential risk of a 50 basis points reduction in profitability margins (EBIT and EBITDA), contingent on the impact of these tariffs.
Commitment to Clients and Market Leadership
Ferrari’s decision reflects its commitment to maintaining a transparent, client-focused approach during a period of uncertainty. The Company continues to prioritize the needs and expectations of its customers while ensuring it remains a leader in the global automotive market.
