KMC Feature – Blake Wilkey’s JAWS: A Trophy Bug That Goes Full Send

Blake Wilkey doesn’t do tame. His builds are loud, fast, and built to take a beating. JAWS, his Trophy Bug, is exactly that: a no-holds-barred off-road machine ready to shred anything in its path. It’s got the heart of a trophy truck, the soul of a Beetle, and the attitude of something straight out of an off-road fever dream. If you’ve seen Wilkey launch this thing off dunes, hammer through the desert, or just absolutely send it in one of his videos, you know it’s built to take a beating and keep coming back for more.

This beast isn’t just for show. JAWS has ripped through King of the Hammers, torn up the Mint 400, and made plenty of appearances across off-road media. It’s a full send, full-throttle, full-chaos kind of build, exactly what you’d expect from Wilkey.

KMC KM444 Mesa Forged Beadlock: Built for the Abuse

There’s no weak link in this setup, and that includes the wheels. Wilkey’s running KMC KM444 Mesa Forged Beadlocks, a wheel designed to handle every gnarly, high-speed, rock-smashing moment JAWS gets put through. The forged construction keeps them strong and light, the true beadlock design locks tires down for max grip at low pressures, and the Raw Machined finish means they look as mean as they perform.
