SEBRING, Fla. – Lexus factory driver Ben Barnicoat sustained injuries in a mountain biking accident and will be unable to compete in Saturday’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring at Sebring International Raceway. Two-time FIA World Endurance champion José María López will replace Barnicoat at Sebring in the Vasser Sullivan No. 14 Lexus RC F GT3 alongside teammates Aaron Telitz and Kyle Kirkwood.
A timeline for Barnicoat’s return is yet to be determined.
