New Class Introduced at San Felipe 250

2.15.25

NEW SCORE Trophy Truck ® 2WD Class for 2025 SCORE is announcing the addition of a new two-wheel drive Trophy Truck 2WD class starting with the 2025 San Felipe 250.

If you have a 2WD Trophy Truck and have already entered the 2025 San Felipe 250, you may choose to either remain in the Trophy Truck class for the year or email registration@score-international.com requesting your entry be moved to the new SCORE Trophy Truck 2WD class for 2025. Registration will assign the class you prefer to be entered in. For new registrations, starting Monday afternoon, Feb. 17th, this new class will appear at the bottom of the list of classes to select from. This new Trophy Truck 2WD class requires a revised numbering system.

This new class allows you to keep your current SCORE assigned number by adding the letter “T” following your assigned number. For example: 25 will now be 25T if you plan to run in the TT 2WD class (Refer to CR50). SCORE staff will update any current entries with a “T” in the Registration System once your email request is received. New entries will need to input the number plus letter “T” when completing your entry.

If you are racing a 2WD vehicle, you can choose to either run the new 2WD class or you can race up into the TT class. The choice is yours. However, a 4WD vehicle cannot run in the Trophy Truck 2WD class. For this 2025 season, the Trophy Truck 2WD class will be Championship eligible by running all four (4) races.

For this year only, if you cannot be ready for the San Felipe 250, running the other three (3) SCORE 2025 races will still keep you eligible for the year-end championship.

All four (4) 2025 races will count in the points standing. If someone running three (3) races earns more points than a team that runs all four (4) races, they will also be Championship eligible. Running all four (4) races will once again be a requirement for a class championship in 2026.

NOTE: You must race the San Felipe 250 to be eligible to qualify at the Baja 500.
